Calling South Carolina USC is like calling Oregon State OSU.

that's why i put lattimore, so people would know which one it was. and i am certainly not the first to use that acronym for south carolina.

Try this:

Gamecock's Lattimore Hurt

They might be the only sports team in the history of sports teams who are called the Gamecocks.

I don't know why, but it also annoys me when people call Oregon State 'OSU' instead of 'The Beavers'

My son lives in Columbia and is a big fan..He calls them the 'Chickens'
Until Lattimore and Shaw showed up...Hope Lattimore gets well soon..
Tickles me when one of the cheerleaders holds up the sign "Go Cocks"

Their commercial cracks me up when all the hands reach up near the end....i think we are supposed to imagine them holding a torch handle or something, but ...i envision something more fitting considering their mascot

my first thought was of prothro, who broke his ankle a few years back. they performed three surgeries after that injury on him, but he never played another down.
husband found an article that said broken patella, femur...and acl, mcl, i think every cl in his knee. much worse than his other knee last year. poor kid.
