Default Cudos To WI Gov. Walker

Another Job Well Done! BTW Tommy leads the Baldwin (Plus 1GOP in Senate) and Romney is 2 pts. behind. (Walker was six behind day before his recall election if that gives anyone a clue)

Quote:
MILWAUKEE (AP) — One week after a deadly Brookfield spa shooting, Gov. Scott Walker says Wisconsin needs to tighten its domestic violence laws.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Walker said the state didn’t do enough on the local level to enforce domestic violence laws, and didn’t do enough to stand up for victims.

Last Sunday, Radcliffe Haugton shot seven women at the Azana Salon & Spa. Three died, including his estranged wife, Zina, before Haugton killed himself.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/XFiKUp ) that over the past decade, police were called to the couple’s home 20 times — seven for possible domestic violence. They never made an arrest.

Walker did not say what he wants changed, but said efforts to make the laws stronger need to come from local, state and federal levels.
