Kasept - Queen of Diamonds
Steve,
Several months ago, you mentioned a big purchase made by your friends at Live Oak. A 2-year old filly named Queen of Diamonds. I see she's been working at Turfway and Churchill for the past couple months. Any word on how she's looking and when she'll make her debut? |

She got nicked up at Saratoga this summer and is on the shelf for a while.. Mott is handling her with kid gloves. She's on the farm right now, I believe for a few months...

Looks like she's debuting Saturday at Keenland.
Leporoux is aboard. Haven't seen the workout pattern yet, but let us know if you think she'll be live on the polytrack. |

Alright...this is confusing.
Steve, I believe the horse you originally mentioned was a 2-year old filly sired by King Mamba named Queenofalldiamonds. She must be the Live Oak horse that is trained by Mott. The horse I have on my watch list is named Queen of diamonds. She's also a 2-year old filly from Johannesberg, trained by Bernie Flint. Now that I see her connections, I figured out my case of mistaken identity. I'm sure this thread is only interesting to me, but I had to make that correction in case anyone else read it. |
