Default explosions at boston marathon

still very early in the story, but apparently two explosions were heard, and there are injuries. police and firemen on scene, with runners re-routed to a new finish line away from the chaos.
the explosions were near the finish line. hope noone is seriously injured.

The Boston Globe is saying 3 dead, 133 injured. I couldn't stand to look at a lot of the footage. Just terrible.

I love that City.

i haven't watched any, just reading. i don't want or need to see it. just saw the latest on the number of casualties, just awful. up to at least 140 injured.. and i had read right after it happened that there were people there from sandy hook, sitting in the vip section-like that haven't had to deal with enough already.
i hope they find who did it, and soon.

Here's an interesting question I was wondering. If they picked the time to detonate why did they pick 4:09 as I clearly saw the time on the footage. Certainly with time requirements to enter the Boston Marathon if you really wanted to hurt the most people you would do it earlier as most people would be around the three hour mark.

Maybe this nut wanted the time to mean something so I googled 4/09 or April 9th and this is what I found:

2003 – 2003 invasion of Iraq: Baghdad falls to American forces;Saddam Hussein statue topples as Iraqis turn on symbols of their former leader, pulling down the statue and tearing it to pieces

I know this is a stretch but......

April 20th is Hitler's Birthday....Events between 4/15 and 4/20:

Boston Marathon: 4/15
VA Tech Massacre: 4/16
OK City Explosion: 4/19
Waco Standoff Fire: 4/19
Columbine 4/20

Pretty amazing pattern though, even if it is co-incidence. Throw tax day in there for good measure.

i think the other occurrences around this date are just coincidence. i'd imagine you can find tragedy in any week of the year.
my thoughts were that either it's anti-government americans who did this, to coincide with patriot's day.
or it just happened to be patriot's day, and they focused on a big crowd being around for the marathon, which just happens to be held on the holiday commemorating lexington and concord.

just read that there were just the two bombs, that reports of unexploded devices isn't true. the bombs contained bb's and ball bearings, to cause as much injury as possible. at least 2 dozen people suffered amputations from the shrapnel. others may lose limbs due to the severity of their injuries. it's horrible.
a 20 year old saudi man is being questioned, a rental van is being sought, and an apartment was searched, with bags of evidence being removed.
i hope they find the bomber(s) quickly. i think if it were a terrorist group, they'd have claimed responsibility by now, but no one has.

This is last year's results. The time of the explosions may only be significant in that it's right around when most people finish the race.

Where have we seen this before?

http://www.dailypaul.com/282011/bost...ton-bomb-squad

Answer:

WTC / 9-11-01
OKC Building
Aurora CO
Sandy Hook

Live terror drills conducted the same day, same scenario - Either on location or very close.

Completely ignored by the media.
