Default The thread to brag about having Golden Soul underneath in your exotics...

...AKA you hit the "all" button thread. Crickets... Chirp...

I liked some deep closers in this race, but that one? Wut?

My buddy had the exacta for $2 on an $8 ticket. He liked his last couple of races so he played him under Orb and Revolutionary.

saw him in the post parade, said nice looking horse. sure didn't think he had a shot to hit the board tho. that's the trick, figuring out which longshot gets in-because one just about always does.

I think if he keeps him inside he makes it even tighter, looked like he thought horses were backing up so he swung out but then a huge hole opened up which the 3 kept going through.

I am so glad that Orb won, doubt I could take it if that ******* won the Derby.

Actually Pete, all you had to do was listen to Gary Young, Mike Welch, Jim Scully and Sid Fernando on ATR the last 3 days, who all pushed him as a perfect big price use.

I did use him underneath. He made sense from a clunk up perspective if you thought the race would fall apart.

I had him in 3rd. Had Orb, Revolutionary and Normandy Invasion in 2nd and 3rd. Only problem was Mylute and Verrazano keyed on top.....

Kicking myself for throwing a 1 dollar exacta on Goldencents with all rather than Orb on top. It was the perfect kind of race for some weird longshot to come chugging along.

He pooped all over my tickets. My friend (not a racing fan, but loves going with me to the track) had him across the board (she liked the name), along with Orb. So, of course, she went from being happy to being upset she didn't box them in an exacta.

A fourth and a second in a G3 and a G2 was good enough to get into the Kentucky derby this year.

He isn't that bad, but no way he he should have finished 2nd. I think a lot of the horses didn't handle the slop at all and this caused many of them to just plot along. I'll probably throw Golden Soul on the bottom of my exotics in the Preakness, but I doubt he makes it close for the win. I've been wrong many times, though.
