$1 Trifectas : 7,8 / 1,4,6,7,8 / 1,4,6,7,8 = $24.00
Quick word about this race : For those who have never been to Penn National, the turf course is a wide, but tight turned, 7 furlong affair. Noble Tune has drawn the worst of it since you know that his late closing style will put him two or three wide (or more) on the final turn which will be costly on distance. Hard to avoid looking at Rydilluc having all of the early speed (unless Emilio Flores decides to press the issue on behalf of the Penn colony with his mount). From the deep closers, it feels like Charming Kitten will be be positioned to make first run if he can save ground on the first turn. |
