Default SAT - Belmont (Belmont Stakes Day R6-R13)

Belmont Park - Belmont Stakes Day POST SCRATCHES - MUDDY / YIELDING

R6 - Easy Goer 150k

#2 Power Broker (7-5) - Coming off confidence booster in beating elders at CD. WON $4.70
#9 Irsaal (4-1) - Wouldn't mind a little moisture on the surface. 3RD
#4 Doherty (6-1) - Hasn't missed the board in 5 starts. Minor award.
#5 New Line (10-1) - Great value for improving Mott/Juddmonte homebred. 4TH

R7 - G2 True North

#1 Fast Bullet (POE - #1 Justin Phillips) (7-5) - Both can do it, but Fast Bullet seems to always fire a big one in his 2 races per year. WON $3.60
#5 Caixa Electronica (7-2) - Ultra consistent 8yr old money maker will enjoy the turnback.
#4 Off the Jak (15-1) - Don't ignore his chances as he's proven to be a solid sprinter. 3RD
#6 Sage Valley (5-2) - Just seems like an underlay versus this group, but the numbers are there despite moving up in class.

R8 - G1 Just A Game (Turf 8F)

#3 Centre Court (3-1) - Hasn't missed the exacta since her 1st start and she always put herself in good position. Must handle a soft course today. 4TH
#5 Laugh Out Loud (GB) (15-1) - Euro invader took some money in only 2013 start and we all know these types have success in the their 1st U.S. start.
#1 Hungry Island (4-1) - Gomez picks up the mount with JJ staying on #4 and she is proven on a soft turf course. 3RD

R9 - G2 Woody Stevens

#9 Clearly Now (8-1) - Sets up well for his stalking style as it looks like none if the speedsters will get "Loose on the lead." 3RD
#3 Capo Bastone (6-1) - Ran out of room in the Derby Trial, but could develop to a serious closing sprinter throughout the rest of the year.
#11 Let Em Shine (3-1) - West Coaster could be the one get loose, especially if he catches a flier from the outside post. 4TH
#7 Forty Tales (5-1) - Another stalker type that looks to get a favorable trip especially with Rosario aboard. WON $19.80

R10 - G1 Manhattan (Turf 12F)

#1 Point of Entry (3-5) - Towers over this field and is a free square on PK6/PK4 tickets. WON $3.10
#7 Bombaguia (15-1) - Had a trouble trip in last and still managed to finish 2nd.
#5 Optimizer (6-1) - I can't remember him missing a start on a Triple Crown day. Obviously turf if the preferred surface and a must play underneath. 2ND
#8 Twilight Eclipse (8-1) - Only 8 career starts, but the talent is there.

R11 - G1 Belmont Stakes

#1 Frac Daddy (30-1) - McPeek gives him another shot and stated that he will show speed.
#2 Freedom Child (8-1) - Big performance in sloppy Peter Pan, but these are a different caliber.
#3 Overanalyze (12-1) - Patterns says good race here and looks to get a nice trip.
#4 Giant Finish (30-1) - Ran even in Derby and looks to finish midpack at best.
#5 Orb (3-1) - Doing well and should make amends for odds on loss in Preakness.
#6 Incognito (30-1) - Definitely bred for this, but you have to question the talent.
#7 Oxbow (5-1) - Hard to imagine he'll get a similar trip here with others that want the front as well.
#8 Midnight Taboo (30-1) - Bold move to enter this lightly raced runner that is eligible for Alw N1X.
#9 Revolutionary (9-2) - Passed on the Preakness for this and is a major player for all slots.
#10 Will Take Charge (20-1) - Great looking colt, but this is not a beauty contest.
#11 Vyjack (20-1) - Tricky read, but have to question him at this distance.
#12 Palice Malice (15-1) - Blinkers come off after disaster in Derby, where he ran off. Training great since then and I'm expecting a huge performance from the son the Curlin WON $29.60.
#13 Unlimited Budget (8-1) - Nice filly, but this is ambitious spot to tackle to boys.
#14 Golden Soul (10-1) - Missed a work and Robby must deal with some traffic again as a minor piece seems to be the ceiling.

Selections:

#12 Palice Malice WON $29.60
#5 Orb 3RD
#9 Revolutionary 5TH
#3 Overanalyze
#7 Oxbow 2ND

PK6 - 2 4 5 9 / 1 / 3 5 / 3 7 9 11 / 1 / 5 12 = $128 PAID $57.50 FOR 5 OUT OF 6

Great day Gus! Congrats!

$447 p4 wasn't a bad return considering the free square, but man, had Better Lucky held on in the Just A Game, would have been tons better. No complaints over here though!
