Default Cards win, lead by 2

Can someone explain to me how this division is not clinched? ESPN said that Houston has to lose tonight before its clinched? How can that be? 2 games up with only 1 left for St. Louis and 2 for Houston.

I think both have 2 games left...the Giants and Cards have a rain-out to complete if it becomes necessary!

Okay, so if the Cards end tomorrow 1/2 game up on the Astros they have to play Monday to make sure they have the same number of games as the Astros. Sorry, forgot. I think its going to be necessary and comes down to that Monday game and eventually the Tuesday game against the Astros.

It is over. The Cardinals would have to lose 3 in a row and Houston win 2 in a row. It won't happen. Many of the Giants won't even get on a plane for that game on Monday anyway.
