He has a torn rotator cuff. Out 8 months. I guess that calf lie didn't hold up.

It was curious that he had problems with both calves! This sucks..I'm not sure he'll come back to pitch again. That's a lot of rehab at his age.

I am sure he will try but he is a little guy. He has his ring and is a hall of famer. I just wonder if he wants to end his career this way.

He did return the Mets to the elite, and he got the Red Sox their championship. He is also a good guy, but I don't think he has the competitive fire anymore. I think he likes his garden and his dogs and just is cashing a check now.

I would fully agree with you except that it's hard to have that fire when you are injured. Hopefully he gets healthy and Kicks butt just 1 more time
