![]() told my husband that all doors leading into schools should be locked, and remain so--of course they're made that you can open them and get out, but no way access should be so easy. buildings full of potential victims, and anyone can just walk in. think about it, when was the last time you walked into your kids school and anyone challenged you or asked why you were there?
only one entrance, with an intercom and camera system--buzz the button, state your business, and then they let you in--maybe! i think it wouldn't hurt to have all class doors locked as well. |

![]() The Amish are obviously better than me if they can forgive that gutless piece of sh*t.
Pretty sure the piece of garbage will spend eternity rotting in the bowels of Hell…. |

![]() The Amish live apart, yet their small world has been touched with insanity and loss.
Their response is "forgiveness". They even sent their own to the perpetrator's family to offer comfort. They responded to their loss with compassion, not revenge. They responded to an act of hatred with an act of love. They have shown peace when anger filled their "safe world". To me, their gentle actions speak louder than any words I could possibly say. For that, I'll continue to respect the Amish. They evidence the beliefs that they live by. I wish them peace while they confront their losses. May their gentle children also rest in peace. |

I agree. The individuals who show their insanity, or the evil ones who find meaning in their despicable actions, find their own rewards. It makes all this very easy in that I am not put in a position to "judge". They've already done so. However, grief for the loss of children is not so "easy" for me. I'm very sad. DTS |

Why would anyone want to spread it to others? I don't know. I really don't. My best guess is that they would feel justified in sharing their anguish. Therein it continues. The only remedy for pain is in the "healing". Not in bringing it to others. Is there need for more victims? It's too senseless for me to comprehend. |

![]() If the piece of sh*t had so much "anger" why didn't he sign up to go over and hunt some terrorists?
The pile of sh*t was a coward of the highest order. We can't even begin to understand an evil monster like that, Dts. I don't even think those vile terrorists have lowered themselves to putting guns against the heads of 7 and 8-year-old girls and executing them.... |

![]() They burried 5 children yesterday, so sad! A piece of good news, a couple are improving in hospitals and one child they sent home to die suddenly started responding and was readmitted to the hospital. The Amish continue to show us all the true meaning of compassion, forgiveness and courage. One of the older girls (she was 13) went to this murdering piece of garbage and pleaded with him to let the others go, she told him he could kill her but let her sister and the others go! Unbelievable bravery and unconditional love for others...we could all learn from her, I doubt I'd be that brave and loving! And then for the Amish families to go and comfort the murder's wife and kids...if only all of us could live up to that standard, what a different world this would be!

I just read your post at the espn board. All I can say is that I agree. Yes, they are in my prayers. And yes, we ALL could learn from the Amish. If only we paid attention to their example. DTS |
