![]() so, do the stewarts have the balls to call in johnny v for that ride on tiz for tat in 2nd at belmont? 6 path the whole race? when he gets out to a 4 length lead before the quarter to go down to rail?
disgusting |

![]() You have to be kidding, you think that it was Johnny V's fault? The horse was rank and is looking like a professional maiden. The 2 was simply better when it counted. How the 5 didn't take advantage of that is beyond me.

![]() I agree that the horse was rank but you think that a Hall of Fame Jockey should be able to get him off the 6 Path with A 5 length lead.

![]() It was a bad ride for a variety of reasons.

![]() I said pro maiden after his 2nd race. Someone will always beat this horse. I kinda agree with the original post though, you have to put this horse on the rail. Rank means rank, not that you can't go left when you're 4 clear.

![]() No problem with either ride. Not like he lost on the best horse. And, clearly, he no longer can finish with Castellano.

![]() He 100% cost his horse in the 2nd race the win by not going to the rail and maintaining the lead. Not only would his mount then have taken advantage of the gold rail, that has existed throughout the meet, but Javy's mount would not have been able to do so. It was a poorly judged ride.

![]() How can you be Mr Trackus and also have no problem with a horse going 5 wide all the way around?

![]() In my opinion, when a rider stays that wide in the backstretch, it encourages others to go after him early up the inside. I've seen that happen time and time again, and yesterday's last race was no different. Lasso came up inside of him, and not so coincidentally, they were both distanced at the end.

![]() My post pertained to the last race, not the 2nd. However, I completely disagree with you regarding Tiz for Tat, respectfully, of course. The golden rail at Belmont right now is pretty much undeniable.

Tiz for Tat had every opportunity to run the 2 down and the 2 was simply better IMO. I just see many making yet another excuse for this horse and jumping all over him as chalk next time when I am starting to feel that he just might be a pack horse that is going to wait on another horse when it comes crunch time. |
