One of my favorite writers..read all his books and saw all the movies..

Tom Clancy, 'Hunt for Red October' author, dead at 66...way too young..

Tom Clancy, the author of several best-selling military thrillers including "The Hunt for Red October" and "Patriot Games," died Tuesday at a Baltimore hospital. He was 66.

Alec Baldwin blew it by not continuing as Jack Ryan...also by losing Kim Basinger but that is another story.

i have most of his books.....the jack ryan series was great, enjoyed 'without remorse' as well, and also 'red storm rising'. have the first where young jack gets his start, but didn't buy any after that.
he lived in calvert county, which is where i grew up. had a beautiful place there. enjoyed the movies, especially patriot games since it had so many maryland sites in it.
agree, too young.
