No reason to tell us the track or the race....bettors don't deserve to know. Got it.

you'd think you'd read the article that you're linking. after they complete the investigation, they'll give out the details, including the track involved.

I did miss that, haha....although they know the track and race right now, what exactly is there to investigate? This is not a hand buzzer.

What I find funny is that we are supposed to believe this can happen by accident, but not intentionally.

what is there to investigate? i'd hazard a guess that they want everyone involved. you kick over some rocks, you'll find some snakes. better they take their time and be thorough, rather than rush and miss someone(s).

What I find funny is that they think past posting is a "very rare occurrence."
When watching Churchill, It never fails that whoever on the lead after the first 1/16th-1/8th of a mile the horse on the lead will usually drop quite a bit... 7/2 to 5/2 say. i've even seen plenty of odds drop at the top of the stretch.
if it is not past posting the late money sure is sharp.

And they think we believe there were only eleven such incidents recently?

Not 11 incidents... 11 individual bets at one locale in the situation 3 weeks ago.

And to again address Jack's issue about odds changes, it has to do with the pool accumulation in reference to the video graphics and how they are integrated during the running of a race. Currently, final odds may lag by as long a 75 seconds feeding into the video. The new TSS will compute odds EVERY 2 SECONDS instead of 30 or 60 in some cases virtually eliminating in-race odds changes.

For a better understanding of the current scenario and the move to the new Tote Security System, I hope everyone would actually read the whole Frank Angst Bloodhorse piece and then listen to TRPB's Curtis Linnell on today's ATR (Hour 3): http://www.thoroughbredracingradione...y=11&Itemid=35
