![]() Obamacare's Website Is Crashing Because It Doesn't Want You To Know How Costly Its Plans Are
http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapoth...ns-true-costs/ Excerpt: "...raises an obvious question. If 50 million people are uninsured today, mainly because insurance is too expensive, why is it better to make coverage even costlier? The answer is that Obamacare wasn’t designed to help healthy people with average incomes get health insurance. It was designed to force those people to pay more for coverage, in order to subsidize insurance for people with incomes near the poverty line, and those with chronic or costly medical conditions." Socialism - again. It's all the Democratic party has to offer. One size fits all - "we know what's best for you" elitist nonsense. |

![]() worst ever? probably buchanan.
it's funny tho...people hate bush, or hate obama-and they seem so alike to me. i mean, what bush era stuff has changed since obama came in? then again, the current House has got to be the most obstreperous body EVER. Quote:
many are uninsured because of pre-existing conditions. others are because they can't afford it, or don't see a need for it. then they have an emergency, and oops. we have a friend who had to retire due to health, not 60 yet. so no medicare. he and his wife applied for bcbs-turned down flat, because of health issues. so, he's paying to keep the coverage thru his job, to the tune of $1800/month. now, they can't turn him down, and his rate probably won't be nearly that high. the tradeoff is that they are forcing the young, the healthy, to buy, to balance out forcing insurance companies to take those with pre-existing conditions. you know--the insurance mandate that republicans were for-til the democrats decided to use it.
