![]() Horseplayer's Super Bowl has arrived. There are many opportunities for significant scores the next two days with evenly matched large fields. My advised is to stay with your original plays and don't let some odd results waver your opinions. Good Racing Luck.
Breeders' Cup Day 1 Santa Anita POST SCRATCHES R1 - OC 40k/N1X (Turf 6.5F) #11 U S Citizen (4-1) #9 He's Had Enough (6-1) #8 Pure Loyalty (8-1) WON $10.80 R2 - OC 40k/N1X #13 Wild Dude (4-1) 3RD #7 Monument (8-1) 4TH #5 Newfound Gold (12-1) #3 Basmati (8-1) R3 - CB Golden State Juvenile 200k - Interesting to get an early gauge if the speed bias on route races continues. #2 Life Is a Joy (9-2) #4 Gangnam Guy (9-2) #7 Tamarando (8-5) 3RD #8 Cinmars Dance (8-1) 4TH R4 - CB Golden State Juvenile Filly 200k #9 Moving Desert (4-1) 2ND #8 Stole a Kiss (7-2) #10 Swiss Lake Yodeler (12-1) WON $18.00 #2 Cal Gal (3-1) R5 - G2 Twilight Derby (Turf 9F) #12 Gabriel Charles (9-2) 2ND #3 Den's Legacy (10-1) #4 Dice Flavor (10-1) #6 Dry Summer (10-1) 4TH PK5 - 1 9 11 / 7 13 / 2 / 2 8 9 10 / 3 12 = $24 for $.50 R6 - G2 Breeders' Cup Marathon - Difficult handicapping puzzle to open the Breeders' Cup races. #10 Worldly (6-1) - Expecting him to be forwardly placed throughout. You know it's a difficult race when my top choice last won in July 2011. 3RD #5 Suns Out Guns Out (10-1) - Leparoux's patience helps the cause and he will be on the front end as well. 4TH #2 Cease (8-1) - Consistent sort has the look that he'll stay the distance. #1 Old Time Hockey (8-1) - Has been facing some nice company on the grass and breeding is suited for this race. R7 - G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf #5 Bobby's Kitten (5-2) - Coming in off dominating win and draws well. 3RD #4 Outstrip (GB) (4-1) - Solid European record and Smith should help with his 1st left handed turn. WON $14.00 #2 Giovani Boldini (7-2) - Top European Barn obviously knows how to win this race, although the West Virginia bred was just okay in lone Turf start. 2ND #8 Bon Accord (20-1) - Switch to the lawn was the right call and Rosario hops aboard. 4TH R8 - G1 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile #4 Brujo de Olleros (Brz) (8-1) - Held his own in G2 Kelso and the two turns should not be a problem. 3RD #12 Goldencents (4-1) - Will have to be sent with the short run to the 1st turn and owns home course advantage. WON $9.60 #3 Hymn Book (15-1) - Benefits from any type of speed duel, despite the recent bias. #10 Verrazano (3-1) - Tricky read. Super talented, but when he's been challenged he's retreated. 4TH R9 - G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Filly Turf - Definitely has the look of a spread race. Outstanding betting affair. #2 Al Thakhira (GB) (6-1) - BEST BET Electric turn of foot in Group 2 win in Europe. #5 Granny Mc's Kitten (20-1) - Draws much better after being caught wide as the favorite in G3 Ms Grillo. #11 Ready to Act (8-1) - Terrible trip in Canada as the chalk, but is working well. #6 Vorda (4-1) - She's improved numbers wise with every race and that's against top European runners. R10 - G1 Breeders' Cup Distaff - Fantastic edition #4 Royal Delta (8-5) - This has been the goal and it's seem like the champ will take it to them for the get go. 4TH #6 Princess of Slymar (9-5) - 3yr old filly has been brilliant, but it's going to tough for her to catch Royal Delta on this surface. #1 Street Girl (30-1) - She has the feeling of filly that will take back and make a late run for a minor piece. #5 Beholder (5-2) - She must deal with toughest field she's faced, although she absolutely loves this track. WON $7.60 PK6 - 3 12 / 1 2 5 10 / 4 5 / 2 3 4 10 12 / 2 / 4 = $160 PK4 - 4 5 / 2 3 4 10 12 / 2 4 5 6 8 10 11 12 13 14 / 4 = $50 for $.50 Distaff / Classic Double - 4 6 / 7 8 9 12 = $8 for every $1 (Punch it a few times) Good Racing Luck

![]() Right there with you on Al Thakhira, Gus. . . If she can work out any sort of trip from down there I think she'll be extremely tough.
