i thought it was fantastic!

people think they're so original....the arguments against sam being able to be accepted (and how he won't be accepted, mizzou teammates notwithstanding) in the locker room, the reasons he won't fit in...are the same tired bs reasons why..
blacks couldn't play
blacks couldn't play qb
you couldn't integrate
why women couldn't work in a 'mans job'
why women couldn't go in the military/could but not in combat
no gays/don't ask don't tell
etc, etc

And here I always thought Jim Brown, MVP of the first two seasons the NFL existed was black?

Jim Brown played in 1922. Wow that's news to me.

But I'm sure you meant the first NFL MVP, when the award was created in 1957.
