Default 3/1: Gulfstream Park (5th-11th)

GULFSTREAM PARK

PRE-SCRATCHES

5th: OC/N2X, F&M-4+, 8.5f-T/12' (P4, P3, DD)

Question here is whether anyone will shake loose up front with Profetiza, Ceci N Red and Really Right being the candidates. Get any of the pressers involved and this has potential to be run honestly..

Most Likely: #6 Sustained 5-2 (Late SCR)
Best Value: #11 Jade's Rainbow 15-1 9th
Next Best: #8 Profetiza 4-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #1 Bella Castani 3-1 3rd

6th: MSW, 3yo, 1m-T/84' (Rainbow P6, P3, DD)

Most Likely: #4 Notability 4-1: Repeat of 1/11 effort annexes this.. 3rd
Next Best: #8 Point Hope 3-1: Expect improvement as KMc adds Lasix, hood.. 11th
Best Value: #3 Woodfield Springs 12-1: Working well, price right but Rusty 0/19.. WON ($13.20)
Exotics Use: #9 Nauset Beach 6-1 2nd

7th: MSW, 3yo, 6.5f (P5, P3, DD)

Pedigree notes includes sons out of Bird Town (Tapit Town) from Zito/Whitney and Mushka (Heyaarat) from KMc/Shadwell..

Most Likely: #1 One Tango Charlie 6-1 9th
Best Value: #8 Viva Majorca 12-1 5th
Next Best: #3 Buck Magic 3-1 4th
Exotics Use: #4 Vischer Ferry 15-1 6th

8th: OC/$100k, 4+, 8.5f-T/12' (P4, P3, DD)

Virtually a G2 with 10 stake winners (8 GSW) and 4 stakes placed among the 16 entered. G1 Gulfstream Turf H. winner Lochte apparently heading to CA for next Saturday's Kilroe Mile..

Best Value: #2 Kalamos 12-1 3rd
Next Best: #10 Newsdad 3-1 7th
Exotics Use: #8 Hangover Kid 15-1 2nd
Super Add: #6 Csaba 6-1 8th

<$35 P4 Play:

5: 1-6-8-11
6: 4-8
7: 1
8: 2-5-6-7-8-9-10-11

4x2x1x8 = 64 x .50 = $32.00

9th: Swale (G2), 3yo, 7f (P3, DD)

Quarter crack results in Havana scratching..

Most Likely: #3 No Nay Never 2-1 2nd
Best Value: #2 Can't Stop the Kid 6-1 5th
Exotics Use: #7 Breitling Flyer 8-1 6th

10th: Palm Beach (G3), 3yo, 9f-T/84' (DD)

Tough to argue against Chad Brown in this spot with both Storming Inti and Pleuven packing an early/late punch. Out-posted Mr. Speaker (4-1) and Cabo Cat (6-1) deserve respect. My Storm Trooper, Morning Calm and Two Jacks Wild are ALL 20-1 and worthy of exotic consideration. Fun group..

Most Likely: #1 Storming Inti 3-1 3rd
Next Best: #4 Pleuven 5-1 2nd
Best Value: #3 My Storm Trooper 20-1 6th
Exotics Use: #10 Mr. Speaker 4-1 2nd
Super Add: #8 Two Jacks Wild 20-1 12th

11th: OC/N1X, 4+, 5f-T/12' (Super Hi-5)

Best Value: #10 Alpha Slew 10-1 9th
Next Best: #4 Wildcat Creek 3-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #5 Mr. Sutton 5-1 8th
Super Add: #8 Farley's Mandate 20-1 6th
Hi-5 Play: #6 Full Moon's Back 8-1 5th

<$30 P6 Play:

6: 4-8
7: 1
8: 1-2-6-8-9-10
9: 1-3
10: 1-4
11: 4-5-10

2x1x6x2x2x3 = 144 x .20 = $28.80

Good luck!
Steve

@HRTV: Havana a scratch from Swale due to quarter crack, per Todd Pletcher.

Fine Dave.. Tina and I headed to Aqueduct Saturday morning, but laptop turned out dead, so I was unable to finish the work. Tried to do as much as possible on the phone but it's arduous. May be just as well seeing how GP was one near miss after another..

Hope everyone had a good Saturday. Was a fun afternoon at the Big A. Stayed downstate overnight too to spend morning at Belmont and later with Tina's son in Brooklyn. G/L today!
