Ria Antonia To Another New Barn, Again.
From Baffert to Amoss.
Looch is stone cold crazy. They were positive that they were going to win the Oaks and now it is being suggested he wants to run Ria in the Preakness, but Baffert balked. Amoss says change is only because of Looch desiring a midwest presence.

I thought I heard the owner made a substantial future bet for the filly to win the Derby?

Talk is true: Ria Antonia pointed to Preakness, owner Paolucci confirms. Says would rather take shot there than face Untapable again in NY. *Scratching head* |

Whenever I feel like going to the midwest, I head to Baltimore too.

Her owners must be smoking too much of that Cali Chrome. The Preakness is a stretch, even for them.

He needs to accept that he owns an allowance horse who won a very slow running of the Juvenile Fillies, via DQ no less. Hilarious, he wants to avoid Untapable so his fallback option is the Preakness.

The best part of all of this is that the Ohio Derby is the race he really covets.

I was looking at that, too. I think she will still get her tail handed to her.

Hopefully that idiot was properly humbled by her last-place finish today, but something tells me she'll be pointed to the Belmont from here. Either that or the Met Mile. Or both.

I loved when he was on Steve's he kept saying "I won't name names" for different things they were talking about. You know when someone says that, they really want to name names!! I think he said he wants to win the Ohio Derby. |
