![]() One of the other things that was tragic about yesterdays crash in NY was that Cory Lidle was a replacement player that crossed the picket line,therefore he was not a member of the union and not entitled to any benefits.I know George and the Yankee organization will come through,but i'll bet the union does nothing.

![]() THIS Union?? I seriously doubt they'll do anything(call me a cynic) After the Strike(in which we were denied a playoff and W.S. postseason) I just stopped caring about MLB for about 5 yrs. There aren't many players left who crossed the lines to fulfil their dreams of playing ball, Donnelly of Angels comes to mind. The lack of union membership costs these players so very much, benefits, trading card money(which approaches 300 G's per player)and other perks. No forgiveness from these people. So, let's see what they do! I'm not holding my breath.

![]() At least family gets 170,000 per year for life. Don't know that they'll ever figure out who was at the controls(which were dual) Will have to see what shakes out!
