WED - Spot Plays (GP R2 & TAM R5)

R2 - OC 75k/N1X #2 Quality Bird (4-1) - Has earned the right to step up after a flying finish in most recent versus Florida State Breds. Same connections (Marylou Whitney and Ian Wilkes) have Gorgeous Bird that most likely is being pointed to the Fountain of Youth. It's not easy to go an extra 3 furlongs, but I have enough confidence in Wilkes to take the plunge to upset the heavy Pletcher favorite (#4 Madefromlucky) 3RD Tampa Bay Downs R5 - OC 75k/N1X (Turf 8.5F) #4 Macchiato (9-2) - Improving filly really showed some patience and a nice turn off foot on this course in December. I like the draw and steady works since most recent race. Look for her to stalk and pounce at a square price. LAST after a difficult trip Good Racing Luck
