Congrats to all involved.

Curious about the winner..was following on Twitter and saw all of a sudden someone with $29k. Did he go all on on that 36-1 shot? Seems like a crazy total.

I am told he had $400 to win, a $20 exacta and a $1 tri.

Really great work. I've started to play a few and it's a whole new world.

I did nothing most of the day. Then, in the 8th, I had $200 to win and a $30 exacta which got me just above $5,000. The rules of this contest are that you have to bet half your bankroll in one of the last two races. Thus, I had a big bet to make on a super wide open affair. Fortunately, I got it right. I bet $500 to win and place plus $1,000 to show on the winner. I also played Recepta over 8 horses for $50 exactas and reversed with two of them.

I knew if Recepta won I would have a chance to win it all. But, I was also fairly sure that even a second or third place finish would keep me in the top six. In the end, it all worked out as well as possible.

Paul
