Default Be Bullish

I see on one of the other sites there is a huge thread on retiring Be Bullsih from racing as he is 10 years old. Understanding he is in the Jacobson barn would people feel differently if he wasn't? Do people know how sound he is or they just feel at age 10 he should not be racing anymore? Looks like he did scratch today

Just curious, but somebody could claim to retire if they feel that strongly

Think a lot of it was do to dropping down to 12k. The horse has won a million dollars, if trainer thinks 12k is his level, does he really need to be racing? If he wasn't in the Jacobson barn, it is highly unlikely the trainer would be playing claiming games with this warrior.

He's 3 for his last 3 no? Something like that, or he is just running him to win knowing that at age 10 most likely won't get claimed. Who knows?

Maybe with the vet scratch father time has caught up with him, I am not passing judgement either way, was just interested in the back story if there was one

He won his last race impressively. There was an article on DRF saying he would be retired soon. I believe this was per Jacobson.

Who really knows, but doesn't look good when it is a vet scratch.

'Vet Scratch' is all encompassing and doesn't necessarily mean the state vet took him out. You can call the R/O if the horse spiked a temperature and they're a vet scratch.

I am fully aware of that. But that is all we are given, so it doesn't look good IMO. The guy entered a million dollar earner for 12k off an easy win at 25k. There really isn't any positive way to spin that. I also saw this:

Vet's List- Be Bullish Jacobson, David I05330 05/06/2015 05/16/2015 R-05/06/2015 Injured

That makes it look even worse.

I've seen Jacobson dump them before.
