Default And the Belmont winner is.....

AP. He rolls home, widening with every stride. Finally a Triple Crown winner.

Why did you do that?

The only good thing that can come of this is that if he overcomes this huge imposter, everyone here will acknowledge his greatness. Even Nick and sterling.

It all comes down to this pick. RHT2004, a man-child, with a dream to topple Derby Trail giant Indian Charlie. If he wins, AP is the 2015 Triple Crown winner. He's got one foot in the frying pan and one in the pressure cooker. Believe me, as a handicapper, I know that right about now, your bladder feels like an overstuffed vacuum cleaner bag and your butt is kinda like an about-to-explode bratwurst.

On the bright side, neither Nick or Andy can legitimately give me crap if AP loses, as they know very few can overcome the mush.

I'm in NYC at the Pan-American racing conference. Emcee Tom Durkin thinks AP will do it. Panelist Pat Cummings seemed like he was leaning toward Frosted. (BTW, he just landed a great job at HKJC and is headed there after the Belmont)

I have him 2nd or 3rd but he could easily be 8 lengths back if we keep with the 8's line of "reasoning".

My trifecta bet is:
5/3,6,8/1,2,3,4,6,7,8 why not?

Cause you will be competing with the thousands playing 5/All/All that's why. It worked in the Preakness however these things usually don't work the next time.
