How's about that ride on the 9 in the 7th. Rolling on the turn, floats wide, shifts in a bit and has to steady, then has a chokehold grip with his right while giving three whips for the entire length of the stretch with his left. He really rode that one out... Whether the horse was going to win or not is another story, but these instances of "not giving the horse the best possibility of finishing as high as possible" (in quotations because they APPEAR that way) would never fly elsewhere and should never over here either.

I don't mean Desormeaux, just some jockeys in general.
