Default Belmont 3rd has a runner I think

In Canopy's debut she sure looked like a horse who was being given "an education" to me!!!
Her works had been great up here at saratoga, and her breeding suggested longer than 5 1/2 furlongs.
She was allowed to lope at rear, steered in behind other filles to take dirt in her face, and then taken widest of all to finish 3rd against a real nice filly of Violette's and West Point's named dream Rush.
She goes a mile today, and I think she'll crush that field like grapes. Bet early, often, and large.

I've actually been following Boca Grande for about six months just on pedigree alone (love those Buckpasser genes). Should be an interesting race. I'm not that sure of Boca Grande at a mile though, might play your horse.

Not YOU too...............

Dixie,
I was politely trying to say that I don't think she was ridden to win her last race, I think she was ridden to win this one. Watch the replay.

I agree with you with Canopy. If the track is off I think her and Boca Grande will really move up in the off track. Boca Grande first race seemed exactly like Canopy's first race. Boca Grande dam Country Hideway won going 7/8 or a Mile in her first start and was multiple stakes winner. Folk is interesting took a lot of money and got be by length of the stretch, Plus Prado rides her back so something had to be a problem they corrected.

Scav,
I live in Saratoga, which is a good 3 hours and 15 minutes by car to Belmont.
Never take my guess over the word of someone who lives near there.
Go with BTW, wet and off.

I'm too busy fielding phone calls and making them to and from the insane people I deal with who want to buy and sell horses.
I sit here on speaker phone and post to break up the insanity.
Some of the people I deal with would not be called sane by even the longest stretch of the word.
