Default Polytrack's effect on breeding

Over on AOL, the Bobtailnag said "Think of what this will do to the breeding industry. Breed for endurance and physical strength instead of speed. In a couple years you might be able to send your mare to Storm Cat for $5000 (He said with tongue in cheek)."

People it wont matter. It will do nothing but enhance the breeding industry. I do not know why people do not understand this. For every top dirt sire in America there will be a top PolyTrack sire. Just like you have a top turf sire i.e Sadlers Well, Theatrical etc etc you will have top Poly and top Dirt. If dirt tracks do become obsolete then a horse like With A City, Asi Siempre or Ball Four will be the big sires instead of the Storm Cats and AP Indys of the world. If fact it will change the way we breed for the better. There prob wont be so much inbreeding and we will breed for endurance rather than speed.

why don't we just build a big pool and have them run/swim in that. Bet that would cut down on injuries.

Three four mile heats in a day are now six 6 furlong races in a year. 96 furlongs in a day to 36 in a year. That is what the breed has become.

yeah,
Im guessing they wish they had not gelded Ball 4.

he could be one of the foundation sires of the polytrack line.
what a freaking mess.

we now have 3 surfaces in this country and we only have sires for 2 of them.
