true, in dubai though.. things have changed since. If I remember, Invasor was carrying more weight. No doubt, DC is good horse but not in this competition not this year. Godolphin knows it.

Are you people on crack? Discreet cat is the best horse in the WORLD! Hes won all over it. The arabs have already admitted that they dont want him to race against bernardini because it will cost him horse of the year.

Everyone needs to stop drinking the Discreet Cat KoolAid.....He was getting like 10lbs in that race in Dubai and while he has won his two races here, WHAT HAS HE FACED. if he goes in the Sprint, he will get DUSTED. From what I have heard on here and other places, he is a hard horse to keep sound also

Wow, dusted? Did you see him race at Saratoga in that allowance the day before Henney Hughes in the Kings bishop. Correct me if im wrong but the cat ran 121 1/5 for 7 and Henney 122 4/5. You think the track was that much slower the next day. I think the time difference adds up to about a 10 length differece. My facts may be off but I saw both those races live! A little tipsy but live.

Yes, not only can the track change by day, but BY RACE. It is how they did it. Henny also came back from that and dusted older sprinters, while getting pace pressure.

Throw in the fact that DC hasnt been taken to the whip in his US races and its astonishing how fast his final times are..

There you went and did it....never take the name of Secretariat in vain! The racing gods will now punish you...bet lightly for awhile!

Through six furlongs Henny Hughes time was actually faster.

And discreet cat was all out? Looked to me like he was taking a stroll in the park. Under wraps in 121 1/5

discreet cat is a very very very good horse, but why do people like you always rush to compare a horse to secretariat? secretariat is one of the best 3 horses (many of course would rank him #1) to EVER live. when you make a comparison like that....you make yourself sound foolish and diminish the strength of your argument....which seems to be that discreet cat is an extremely talented horse.

why not say....this horse is (or could be) like smarty jones, or alysheba, or silver charm, or any of the other great 3yos. we would get your point....and you wouldn't be reduced to comparisons quite so absurd.

All im saying is that discreet cat has the ability to win races by more than 20 lengths. But I cant see anyone beating this horse. I do believe that Secretaiat did lose some races and not to great horses either. I think one was in the wood.

I'm pretty sure if I took on any horse at seven furlongs that he would have the ability to beat me by more than 20 lengths.

yes he had only 16 wins in 21 starts....so are you now using that to say that discreet cat is better that Secretariat? affirmed and the bid lost races too.....so did man o' war.

hooooray! discreet cat is now the greatest horse of all time!!!
does that pretty much sum up your argument?
