Congratulations, Hope they do well for you.

You remember their B-Ball team in 75-76? Undefeated into the Final Four. Indiana clocked them good in the semis. Phil Sellers was their main guy.

I kind of saw this one coming, Pitt beats up on a few patsies and gives the fans here some false confidence and then loses to Rutgers (taking nothing away from them, they have a nice team) ... but wait til WVU and Louisville unload on Pitt, those games will be real ugly ... just glad we have our Steelers to cheer on.

Would be real interesting if they ended up as one of two undefeated teams. Or better, the only undefeated team before the bowls.

I can't believe I didn't bet this game. . .

I knew it'd atleast be closer than 7 but all the analysts psyched me out. . .

Prediction: Rutgers WILL beat Louisville, but not WVA

I'm happy for Rutgers. I thought this game might be their stumbling block. I know they play WV to end the season, but do they play Louisville? I think WV and Louisville play a week from Thursday on ESPN. What a war that will be. Let's hope Rutgers can keep it going, so they can face the winner of that matchup.

Brian Leonard and Ray Rice best backfield duo in the nation. Hopefully Rice will stay around for a couple of more years being only a sophmore. I remember the days my father use to take me to a lot of RU home games because he had season tickets being a grad of RU. No more of those days being beat up by div 1AA & Div 2 Football programs. Hopefully they can now keep the high school football talent from leaving the state of NJ and going to other big name colleges

Saw it coming as well, because Pitt still cant stop the run. They havent been able to for years. Remember that Notre Dame game a few years back in Pgh when Julius Jones put up about 250 on them? Or every game against WVU? Its just something they cant do and very frustrating. The line Rutgers + 6.5 was a gift, an absolute gift because I really didnt see how Pitt could win this thing, and I've been a Pitt fan for all my life. I still think WVU and Louisville are a cut above though.

I agree with this. Great story if they could ever run the table. Rutgers in a BCS game. Would be quite a story.

congrats, RU is a nice team. first i've seen them and i was impressed after pitt cut it to 3, RU ate clock and stretched the lead back to 10. good Old school football, run the ball and play defense.

don't know if the can bet louisville. cards can be exposive. i think RU has a shot at wvu. RU's game can make wvu impatient, thats when they make mistakes.
