As logical as any Matt-O.. i had a hard time eliminating Collier Hill.. Thought this was a tricky event. The 2 locals are viable as well with Sky Conqueror slightly more lovable than Jambalaya.

The sprint looks WIDE open to me. No bet there is crazy. I met the connections of that Sgt. Bert at CRC this summer on Summit day. They were next to Weigelia. He ran big that day. Old Doge cuts back.. The Linda Rice runners.. VERY tough heat...

I'm not going to do Santa Anita.. Going to the beach instead before the Eagles game...

What a ride by Valadivia, he could have freaked out numerous times and he just straight up chilled on the rail the whole time and knew he had the burst......

Wow.. Increasingly impressive filly.. Was one thing to beat Foxysox and something else entirely beating these. Great ride by Valdivia indeed Scavs. 8/5-1-1... Instantly a millionaire today too... Very big, long and leggy.. What a good class of grass fillies..

Went with a long shot exacta here of Sky Conqueror/Last Answer/Collier Hill box. Also, W/P on Collier Hill. Hard to judge on the soft going. Probably up the track.

No home run, but maybe a base hit? Hoping for a little more money for the BC, but didn't get much. Maybe enough for lunch and couple of beers. Have to learn to wheel these winners instead of box 'em. Hard to break some of these losing habits.
