#2 Dark Rain: Gone off form and Wilkes has terrible #s going dirt to turf, but he's also had a quick start to the meet and it doesn't look like anything will bother him up front early. Has wired them on the grass before.

#3 Not So Quiet Man: This is a poor field and his two turf runs are more than capable here. Yes, it's a jock upgrade.

Race 3:
#9 Samadi Sky: Poor debut as the fav but something probably was amiss as he was immediately given time off. Ran well off the long layoff behind a wire to wire winner who sped away with a 24 flat final quarter. Working well, should be fitter, and looks the value play.

Race 4:
#4 Flash Trading: Don't like that he hasn't been seen in the AM for nearly 3 weeks but he's had a strange work pattern for the previous barn. Best on form and race set up otherwise.

Race 5:
#9 Hamptons Holiday: Ultra green under tack but really accelerated well once he got focused.
#3 Desert Trial: SP dam was a 2yo winner late in the season and the works are quick. Kimmel 6 for 8 with baby male FTS at the Spa since 2011.

#5 Proven Commodity: Practically handed the race wire to wire after SCRs...

Race 8:
#4 Havana Moon: As can be expected from an NY turf route there is a distinct lack of pace. She has shown early foot in France and didn't get the best of breaks in her Stateside debut. Of course there is the drop in class also.
#7 Summersault: Won twice here last year. 30-1 ML?
#10 Walking the Kitten: Hanging money-burner but is consistently there.

Race 9:
#8 Drama King: Ignore the muddy try and there's nothing wrong with what he's done. Steady improver has won over the course and has his chance to step up here.
#6 Crackerjack Jones: This is a test but he's come a long way since beating bottom-level optional claimers here three years ago. Three for three in his third start of a form cycle.
