You have to like the Claiming Crown. Full fields, mostly competitive races and a reward to those
horses that make up a majority of racing fields. Not too many winners however were tabbed by
our group and it turned out to be a two player fray with only two winning bets recorded on the
afternoon. Real Quiet takes second by hitting an exacta in race 6 worth $18.10 for each buck
wagered. The Claiming Crown winner got out the broom and swept both the points and ROI
contest. Don gets the win with a $50 win wager on the double digit paying Marabea in race 9.
A $15.60 payout for the win got Don $390 bucks back and he cruised across the finish line
from there. Congrats on the win DG. Sometimes a pattern will stand out and I have to note
it. Ruffian who won everything last year generally doesn't wager on favorite's and Saturday
she outdid herself. Her horses went off at 99-1, 109-1, 105-1, 122-1 and 114-1. Luckily for
the rest of us none of those won or we might all be looking toward 2018. Following are the
