Default Discreet Cat (Any else picking this horse)?

I'm thinking about putting my money on Discreet Cat. Is this is insane of me or does he have a legitimate shot?

This is insane of you because Discreet Cat will be sitting in the barn. It is difficult to win from there.

Good try though!

So no chance he can come out of the barn and still win

Now I feel really stupid to hear this news. Wasn't he going to run as of last weekend?

If the BC is to be an all-star race, can you imagine the other talent that might have been in this race. Barbaro, Afleet Alex, Discreet Cat. Who else am I missing that might have been in this race? Would Smarty be too old? Maybe Birdstone, Sweetnorthernsaint, Jazil?

Smarty and Birdstone would not be too old, but they likely wouldn't be at the same level they were at over 2 years ago and are more valuable as Stallions...

It's a good field, not the best, but good, Lava Man, Invasior, Bernardini and others are very good. It's the best field for older horses we will see all year, I wish we would see it more often, but I am looking forward to Saturday and not worried about who's not running...
