Default Need CD Parking Advice

To my dismay my BC tickets came without the ordered parking pass. I understand that parking is a pain at CD. All advice welcomed. I WILL NOT pay $60 to park in someones front yard.

Park at U of L football stadium, it's easy in, easy out and only a short walk over the bridge to the backside entrance. Walk through the infield, enjoy the spectacle, and hit the tunnel to the front side to your seats.

Papa John's Cardinal Stadium
$10 parking fee. Lots open at 7:00 a.m. The red and green lots at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will be accessible to Breeders' Cup attendees.

To access Papa John's from the expressways:
I-264 East & West [Watterson] exit at 132 Crittenden Drive N., proceed to Central Avenue and turn left. Follow Central Avenue to Floyd Street, turn left and proceed to the stadium parking lot.

I-65 S exit at Crittenden Drive S., proceed to Central Avenue and turn right. Follow Central Avenue to Floyd Street, turn left and proceed to the stadium parking lot.

I-65 N exit at Eastern Parkway, turn right on Crittenden Drive, proceed to Central Avenue and turn right. Follow Central Avenue to Floyd Street, turn left and proceed to the stadium parking lot.

Have fun.

For Derby Day last year I just got off 264, took a right and went up about four or five blocks and took a right on E Kenton St. If you drive past all the people trying to get you to pay $60 to park on their lawn you will find that there are completely free parking spots on the street. It isn't a bad walk either, probably shorter than to Cardinal Stadium. And best of all it is free.
