Default My Breeders Cup Picks

Here are my picks and a brief description as to why:

Juve Filly

Cash Included - Appealing Zophie and Dreaming Of Anna should set the pace. I think that CI is the next faster horse and should be able to stalk the two leaders. She should take the lead turning for home and hold off Octave.

Juve Male

Scat Daddy - I think that Scat Daddy will get the jump on CQ in this race. I also thinks he will get the better trip. I think SD would have beaten CQ in the Hopeful if he didnt stumble at the start. Principle Secret and Great Hunter are intriguing, but right now I think SC is in the best form.

F&M Turf

Satwa Queen - I loved this horse ever since I found out that she was coming over to the US. Her time form ratings are a bit below Ouija Board but I think she gets the job done here. To me this is a hard race to pick a winner because OB, SQ and Wait A While are such good horses. Going to prob be the best race of the day.

Sprint

War Front - As usual, there is tons of speed in this race. Bornordaro is going to get the lead but I think he will fall back into the field. Henny Hughes, Attila's Storm and War Front will be in the next group. I think that once War Front gets straight then he will have a powerful kick and cruise by to get the win. I know Siren Lure is the wise guy play and could get the job done, but War Front will be better.

Mile

Echo Of Light - I think that Gorella is the best here but there isnt really much seperating Echo Of Light and Gorella. The have very comparable speed figs and times at the 1 mile distance. The biggest difference is going to be the odds. Since I cant seperate the two, I am going to go with the 10-1 ml horse.

Distaff

I really have no clue. I am at a lost for this race.

Turf

Go Deputy - I think the horse is in great form. I think that Hurrican Run is digressing. I also think that the race is a little too far for Cacique. This leaves English Channel and Go Deputy. I think EC will be a little too close to the pace and I think GD will be getting the perfect trip under Olivier. GD has raced at this distance 6 times finishing 1st once, 2nd three times and 1 third place finish. I think he gets the job done here.

Classic
Sun King - Sticking to my guns here. I think that Invasor has taken over the roll of wise guy horse from Sun King. I think we are going to get a nice pace in this race and that will cause some problem for some horses. I think Sun King is battled tested and I think with a little luck he gets through the traffic and finds a lane to cross the wire first.

Good luck all and dont bet these picks because I am horrible on BCD.

Ouch. I remember one year I played a 3 horse tri box in every race. Not one race did I have more than 1 horse finish in the top 3. In 3 races, two of my horses finished last.
