ROI Results 9/29 @ BEL/SAX
Scoring a two track all Stake card with a few players taking a shot at the Grand Slam was actually
pretty easy to score because there wasn't any. Discreet Lover ruined all the Grand Slam tries and took a big win away from Roamin and Thunder Snow. Cruzan had a hot shot with Isotherm but the rest of us were cold cold cold. Following are the unofficial results pending any swing and misses on my part. I can't tell you how close I was to throwing $25 bucks at Discreet Lover to win . . . but my "methodical and calculating" horse brain took over my "wild and wooley" horse brain and said "what are nuts".
   And sometimes you need to be nuts in the game to hit a nice payoff.
