Default Invasor in Elite Company

Invasor is the first horse in history to win the BC Classic, Pimlico Special, Suburban Handicap, and Whitney Handicap in the same year.

Even excluding the BC Classic he is the only horse besides Tom Fool in 1953 to win the Pimlico Special, Suburban, and Whitney in the same year.

The Pimlico Special was not run between 1959 and 1987. Even in that time period the only horses to win the Suburban and the Whitney in the same year were Kelso twice (1961, 1963) and Silver Buck (1982).

He may also be the only Triple Crown winner we ever see win the Classic, no matter what country he won the Crown in.

I'm wondering how much more we'll see him racing, if at all.

At least his pedigree works in favor of us seeing him again next year. I sure hope so but I'm not holding my breath.

Surely they'll bring him back. Not the best stallion prospect, but the best runner in the world.

Wouldn't it be great to see another season from him!
How great it would be for the defending champ to return.

I hesitate to even dream about it because invariably whenever I get high on a horse, in short order they're either retired or injured.

South Americans should be proud. Hell of a nice horse Invasor is. I want you all to pay attention to another import who will be over here this winter named "Golden Strategy" Hes not South American, but he was running in Panama prior to being bought and exported. Look for big things from him

Did anyone else think he looked a bit sore in his rear legs after the race or was it just me?

I thought I saw him tightening up as well. But I didnt get a good enough look to really comment on it.
