Default ROI Results 1/5 @ Santa Anita

Not a lot of winners picked at Santa Anita Saturday but by the long nose of Next Shares in the 7th
Real Quiet hits an exacta and was the only player to show a profit. The 7-3 exacta paid $15.30 for
a buck and gave RQ a profit of $69. NJS had Next Shares but wouldn't have showed a profit anyway.
Ruff's place bet ran off the board and El Prado Show Me Da Lute returned her no lute.
Following are the unofficial results pending a booth review. Congrats to Joly on a points 3 peat.
When your hot your hot.

How was I supposed to know a $10 exacta box costs $20?

Not clever on my part but it does show you are on the ball, Real Quiet.

Actually it's pretty simple NJS. You take the derivative of the limit of function X multiplied by the logarithm of the slope field where Y=X-2 squared. Of course this is only a theorem. And who ever said the four years of calculus I took in high school was a waste of time!

No wonder you are so adept at scoring the ROI. I never progressed much beyond memorizing the mnemonic of SOHCAHTOA, and after memorizing it never had much of a chance to use it.

You guys did better than me. I got ticked off about having to write theorems word for word in geometry to the school football coach. He either taught football defense coverages or the names of his latest litter of St Bernard puppies. About every 2 weeks he remembered it was supposed to be geometry. Every other so called human in the class was on the football team. Oh yeah, there was a cheerleader there somewhere. Some guys in that class had been there 4 years.
And that's a true story.
