Figured he would be one who's fee would soar this year due to a great year of performers.

Every year he has multiple colts who bring big Derby buzz and his fillies are good runners as well. One of the few sources of good, versatile stamina thats affordable that can get you something other than a plodder.

Agreed 100%. I'm a huge fan of Caro in the dam's sire line as well.

I truly believe you hit the nail on the head. Caro is the key in that pedigree in my mind. His influence on the American Classics is incredible when you compare it to more hyped and applauded stallions of his time or after.
