ROI Results 3/28 @ Gulfstream

There was a lot of racing at Gulfstream on Saturday for Florida Derby Day but it was a "stay at
home" crowd. Some races were formful, some not. 3 winning tickets were cashed and two
players made a profit. As an added note this is the first time in ten or so years that your ROI
results are being published on a Sunday. Can you tell "boredom" has set in where I am? Lets
cut to the chase. Ruffian wins yet another ROI contest. She nailed Wind of Change in the fifth
race for $400 and it was "catch me if you can" and nobody could. The Raging Ruffalo keeps
churning out those double digit winners this time with a $40.00 win payout. Congrats Ruffian
on the win. You do it well. Real Quiet gets minor second place honors with and exacta in race
10 worth $99 and then caught the daily double in the finale to get some points and not miss
the board by a lousy buck. The only challenge of note was provided by NJ Stinks. He played
a Pick 3 and won the first and third leg including the $123 horse Identifier. Unfortunately his
Intrepid Heart wasn't in it and the challenge fizzled. In the second leg when Wind of Change
won I think the entire pool with Identifier was collected by one player and it was that close to
a 2 out of 3 payout. Following are the unofficial results pending a fielding error by your scorer.
Hopefully things improve even a bit and racing gets back on track. Remember too there
are dedicated horse people who still do thier do with the horses unable to race. They
deserve credit also.
