Well that's just to damn bad isn't it. The winner of this weeks UM vs OSU game will play the winner of the ND vs USC game in two weeks for the National Championship. The Big East is weak, an 11-1 ND team is better than a 900-0 Rutgers team playing the in the Big Least.

One more note about Rutgers, when they play West Virginia if Rutgers is favored I will load up heavily on WV, Rutgers is not athletic enough to stop WV and they will roll all over Rutgers!

Actually, that is far from definite with Rutgers #2 in the computers. If they win out and move ahead of the loser of the Michigan-Ohio St game in the human polls then they have a legit shot at beating out the USC-Notre Dame winner for #2 in the BCS.

BTW, Rutgers will absolutely not be favored at West Virginia.

No, but if Michigan beats Ohio State by 14 or more, and ND wins out, then that means their one loss was to the obvious #1 team in the nation. If ND win out, that will mean that they beat the probable ACC Champion in Georgia Tech and the Pac 10 Champion in USC. I think that an 11-1 ND team would deserve a rematch against Michigan, which was a game where nothing could go right for the Irish.

Default Notre Dame & the BCS

You have to be joking if Notre Dame deserves a Bullcrap Championship Series game. If they were a real team they would schedule teams other that Navy, Air Force, and Army. Instead of them im sure they would schedule Temple, Rice and Illinois. Today's athletics are all about the all mighty dollar and not competion. If it wasn't about the money then maybe Notre Dame would join a conference and no im not talking about the Big East or ACC. Maybe the Big Ten, they would never make it in the SEC. They dont deserve that TV deal also. I'd rather watch another team than an overated Notre Dame.

WHat exactly are you smoking? The line for this game is out some place and it is WVA -8, so obviously they aren't overrated at all. IN fact the opposite is true. I don't expect them to win there, but Rutgers is far from favored.

Go watch your white trash nascar buddy, this wins moron post of the year. Every powerhouse in College football plays a few teams such as Temple, Rice, Illinois, Navy, Airforce, and Army. Name one college football team that is in the top 10 that doesn't play atleast 3 weak teams such as the ones just named. You can't do it!! Every good team has a few cupcake games MORON!!! Stick to Nascar buddy!!

Another fact:

Ohio State plays the bottome feeders of the Big 10. Granted they do play Michigan, so does Notre Dame. Notre Dame howerver plays the big names and good teams of the Big 10 such as Michigan, Penn State, and Purdue. Ohio State plays Michigan, Indiania and Illinois. Face it, ND isn't even in the Big 10 and they play the better half of the Big 10 where as Ohio State plays the lower half.

OWNED!!!

Strength of Schedule ratings have USC at 2,Cal at 4,Wash at 3,Stanford at 1,Florida at 14,ND at 22,Mich at 29,Osu at 49. So I would say USC runs the table and Florida might be in the mix also!

Default Notre Dame

IrishofNDMan,

Listen here whiney butt. I am not disputing the fact that all the top teams play cream puffs each year. THEY DO. All teams need a scrimmage game once in a while. Do they play all three service academies in the same year? Name me a team other that Notre Dame that does that. Don't use the service academies, because that would be two games each year vice three, that is if you know how to count. Im sure you dont have any clue about NASCAR either. And you dare to call it white trash. I always thought that Notre Dame people had some class, since its pretty much a Catholic college. I guess the saying one bad apple in the bunch applies to YOU!!!!!!! Im sure you would be suprised at the intelligence that NASCAR fans have, which you obviously don't have.

This is too funny! If you only knew what it entailed to work on those cars, you'd shut your mouth... I haven't met a single guy in the garage that would be considered "white trash."

By the way, the main reason I can't stand Notre Dame is because of fans like yourself. Thanks for verifying that for me.

I can't get enough of Notre Dame Bashing,
Please keep it going

ND plays Army this week to end their 6 consecutive hard game
in a row

I'm not a die hard Nascar Fan but every year I go
to Pocono Raceway for the 2 races they hold each year.
Because its non-stop action and a great time with the buddies

Yeah, I am a NASCAR fan and I don't think I'm "white trash"...well, I guess that could be argued, but if someone is going to question my intelligence...well, $1000.oo a point, any IQ test recognized by Mensa...put your money up! I might yet consider early retirement! Ok, back to the point...ND is overrated imo, they are a good team with an outstanding QB but that "D" won't hold up against the big boys! Nevertheless, if they beat USC they would be in the running for the championship game...have to be! Right now, I'd rank:
Ohio State
Michigan
USC
Rutgers
Florida
Arkansas
ND
Obviously, one of the top two will fall, USC vs ND will eliminate another, only one from Florida/Arkansas...so...winner of OSU vs Mich is one, USC with a win over ND is the other...if USC loses and Rutgers can somehow go into Morgantown and beat WVa...they should be the second team! If Rutgers falls, either Florida or Arkansas would have a claim but so would ND so...we'll wait and see!
