Hard Spun is trained by J. Larry Jones and owned Fox Hill

I posted about him in trip notes two year olds to watch

I was at Del Park the day he ran he was 8/1 morning line
and opened up at 2/5, and went off at around 6/5.
I guess everybody on the backside knew he could run.
He could of run a second faster if Pino didn't gather him up in
final eighth.

I guess we learned nothing from Bernardini.


This horse was hardly flattered by the performance the third finisher put in at Aqueduct Saturday. Let me know when he puts in a big performance outside of the confines of Delaware Park.

By the way....fine place that Saucon Valley.

He's a half brother to Barbaro, am I correct??????

I tought he was owned by ROy and Gretchen Jackson but could be wrong..Rick Porter owns Round Pond..

No, he's not Barbaro's half... Barbaro's two year old half brother is a colt named "Man In Havana" by Quiet American.
