Default Roadster's Return

Looking over the card for Fairgrounds on Saturday and Roadster returns in the New Orleans Classic Stakes.

Owendale seems like the clear favorite here so I'm wondering if people will continue to bet Roadster, even coming off a 12-month layoff. He looks like he may be the only speed signed on for the race (Mocito Rojo and Chess Chief could be the other two pace players but they're not particularly fast) so I could see people buying that angle.

I'm very skeptical though. This seems like a lot to ask of him, even if the field isn't all that strong outside of Owendale.

No way I will have roadster on my ticket. Chess Chief looks to be sitting on a big one and I love having Saez on the horse. Also seems to like the fg track. Think he’s a good value play

That’s who I had in mind. Really like Saez being added. I don’t love his early pace numbers but Saez should probably have him forwardly placed and give him a shot to win. I sort of have the thought that if Roadster beats me at 9 furlongs off a 12 month layoff then I just have to accept it.

I’m intrigued by this horse Olliemyboy. Not sure Saturday is his day but I think he could have a pretty good 4YO campaign.
