Thumbs up Hickory's "five star" NFL play

Going all out this week (5 team sheet)

RAVENS -6 over FALCONS (NFL's most overrated team!)
BEARS -7 over the JETS (Gang Green comes back to earth)
PATRIOTS -6 over the Pack (they ain't gonna lose three in a row...right)
COLTS -1 over the Boys (they'll lose one...but not against T.O.)
BEST BET
BUCS -2.5 over the Skins (no Portis, first snap QB)

Bears is a bad call, stop under estimating the Jets<- Best bet of the week

What do you think of SD @ Broncos?? I'm thinking it's either gonna be close with the Broncos pulling it off, or SD will stomp them from the start. We'll see if the Broncos' offensive line shows up, or if they send their grannies to play for them again.

I see it the same as you, but LT is on FIRE! stopping him will be the difference in the game, I'm going with the Bolts and they could be the main danger to the Colts after tommorrows game in the AFC

I was really impressed with SD's QB last week. He kept his cool in a situation where most vets would have lost it. That said, I'm a Broncos' girl, so I gotta cheer for my boys! And since Mr. Dixie thinks I'm a chicken to post on this board, I'll go ahead and put my picks for this week up and hope I don't suck as badly as I did last week, going 8-8.

KANSAS CITY -9˝
Indianapolis -1
NEW ORLEANS -3˝
CLEVELAND + 3˝
PHILADELPHIA -13
Atlanta +4
CAROLINA -6˝
Buffalo +2˝
New England -6
TAMPA BAY -3
NY JETS +6˝
MIAMI -3˝
Detroit+2
Seattle -3˝
DENVER -2˝
Giants +3˝

I had a hard time chosing this week. I'm nervous about the Bears v Jets, although I think the Jets can pull it off at home. The Colts v Cowboys will be a good game I'm hoping. I'd really like to see the Colts lose, but I'm not sure they'll do it. The other two I'm nervous about are the Vikings @ Dolphins and the Raiders @ Cheifs. I'm excited to see how Green does after being out most of the season, and I gave the Cheifs the advantage at home. Hopefully the Dolphins can keep up their good work.

I really like the BUCS this week versus the quarterback-less and Portis-less Skins, I think the RAVENS will just eat up Vick & the Falcons. You're 8-8 wasn't that bad with the lines last week, in a "straight up" pool I'm in the results for the winner was 11 for the week. Any time you break even with the lines, your not doing bad.

As usual, I got GREEDY and went with one too many teams!
Well, four out of five ain't bad...but NOTHING to show for it!

Very nice job.
I liked the Pats.
But chickened out in telling my brother to stamp it.
Pro football is so difficult. But a very nice job.

....ah...the lament of the football card player! Been there......reminds me of someone on DTs' signature...about breakin even at the track...cuz we really needed the money! 3 teamers can be had....but that 4th team(and its odds) is SO elusive.
