Default June 5 Belmont Stakes Card ROI Wagers go here . . .

We have another $200 wallet for the four races and or double including the following June 4 Friday and June 5 Saturday races. Here are the doubles we will accept:

Fri Race 7 True North/Sat Race 3 Woody Stephens (4:07 ET)

Fri Race 8 BedO'Roses/Sat Race 5 Acorn 9June 4 - (4:40 ET)

Fri Race 9 New York Stakes/Sat Race 9 Met "Mile" Handicap (5:15 ET)

Fri Race 10 Belmont Gold/Sat Race 11 Belmont Stakes (5:48 ET)

Any double played must be posted by scheduled post time for Friday's races in parenthesis.

If any of this is not accurate (like I do make mistakes, right) let me know, Thanks and Ga'luk to all!!!

Sorry Don. I thought the selection of our contest venue on triple crown days was bound by tradition. Since you tell me there is a choice, I will express my feelings.

NYRA has put together a fantastic race card with 9 major stakes races all in a row. A few of them have slimmer fields but that seems to be the norm these days. The entire card of 13 races is a bit daunting to me, with a race day that starts at 11:35 AM and a final race that doesn't run until 8:05 PM [lots of extra time to visit the ATM if you are ontrack] . The two races after the Belmont Stakes are a bit of an anticlimax.

I'd like to end our contest card with Race 11, the Belmont Stakes. A contest of races 1-11 should be enough.

Most definitely tradition holds, just thinking about the races. Got it now, thanks.

I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for multi race bets that have only major stakes races. There's one of them today and it reeled me in.

Race 7:
$1 pick 5
3,5 / 4,6,9,10 / 6 / 4,8,9,10 / 2,3,4,7 [$128]

$0.50 pick 5
3,5 / 4,6,9,10 / 3 / 4,8,9,10 / 2,3,4,7 [$64]

Success to and and thank you to RQ. Hope you all enjoy Belmont Day.

N.B. - The whole world seems to have heard the same tip out of the backstretch on #7 Bonny South in the Phipps [R7]. I just can't find a way to include her on these tickets, so I could be out very early. Curious to see how much lower her odds are than the 10-1 ML.

I had added the above comment to my ROI wager. After hearing all of the "whispers" on Bonny South, it was not a surprise to see her bet down to around 2-1 off of her 10-1 ML for most of the wagering. I think she finally went off at 5-2. Her race was not bad but she was never going to catch Letruska and while she passed Shedaresthedevil in the stretch, I thought that Shedares didn't show much of her previous form. Still not sure what all of the fuss was about. Just happy that I didn't buy into it.
