2 year olds going a mile on the grass? In June?

Kind of ironic the track that has ridiculous whip rules in place to “protect” the horses, has babies running 2 turns in June.

This same dumb race has been run for the past 3 years I think.

However, one would think with all the money that was put into building that awkward turf chute so they could run turf sprints on the flat (instead of using the hillside course) that they would do away with this utterly pointless (and rather risky) race.

I wish it was 6 furlongs the way my horse ran. Winner looked pretty good
