Dixie, my friend, excellent to see you here.

Thank you for these what I'm sure are fine selections and if nothing else I am sure we can make fun of them later. Unfortunately I have not looked at much today, most of Aqueduct, and a few stakes around the country.

I believe that Reverberate will be very tough in the feature at Aqueduct, though I doubt at much price, and I will try to at least sneak Bridge Game into the exacta, with a little win bet, in the feature at Churchill.

Best of luck. Big day planned? Be certain to fill us in with the details later.....celebs I hope.

Anyone know if the Sopranos guys are at Aqueduct today? That could be the difference between Carminooch being 5/2 or 3/5.

I doubt they bet that kind of money.

I can't imagine Reverberate won't be favored. His races are simply better than these.

Someone did last time or it was just absolutely terrible morning lines. He was higher than Organizer on the morning line and went off at like 1/6th of the odds in the end.

I'd be much more apt to take Carminooch than Reverberate in here.

Too busy spending money on hookers and coke.
Friend worked on the set, said Gandolfini was basically comatose everyday from the night before. Generally high on something every day. Makes his performances look even better.

They seem like good guys. I sat by a lot of them at Belmont on a number of occasions and they were incredibly gracious and generous with their time. I have talked to Michael Imperioli quite a bit and he seems like a great guy. I also have a good friend who had a reasonable role last season and she loved working with them.

How great was Gandolfini in " Get Shorty "?

Lots of people who "party" are good guys. I have some friends who do that stuff and they have some serious jobs. Comes with the territory. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. Gambling's my vice. And gin.

Really. I loved it. Not a great movie, per se, but I thought it was lots of fun.

Loved Get Shorty
The shylock wants to get into pictures. I LMAO on that movie.

On the other hand, they did a lame follow-up called Be Cool, one of the most hideous things ever put on film.

I love the bones barboni guy...

Barboni - Let me explain something to you. Momo is dead. Which means that everything he had now belongs to Jimmy Cap, including you. Which also means, that when I speak, I speak for Jimmy. E.g., from now on, you start showing me the proper f**king respect.

Chili Palmer - "E.g." means "for example". What I think you want to say is "I.e.".

Barboni - Bullsh!t! That's short for "ergo".

Chili Palmer - Ask your man

Bodyguard - To the best of my knowledge, "e.g." means "for example".

Barboni - E.g., i.e., f**k you! The point is this: is that, When I say "jump", you say "OK", okay?

Imagine. If they just throw $10,000 a piece on the horse to win it is going to have a serious effect on the win pool.

Good flick. Travolta was riding high after Pulp Fiction.

Momo's heart attack at his surprise party? Priceless

Race is kinda tough.

I expect you'll me all over me bright and early.
Well lets see, Saint Anddan finished third as the 2:1 favorite.

Tiger On The Loose was mercifully scratched at Hollywood.

Does this mean another Bently will have to be sold off?

You're way over your head here. Now "go get your shine box".
You started this thread by saying you'll make two bets today. One lost, the other was scratched.

Then miraculously you salvaged the day by stating after the fact that you made some big bundle on the Kitten horse. How convenient and laughable.
