California tracks Especially Santa Anita + Del Mar
Get such small entries Most of the time 🙄😔😏

With so many Barns, Horses, 🐎🐎🐎🐎Fans
Yet, When you look at the Louisiana tracks
Fair Grounds….Evangeline….Louisiana Downs
Even during a Weekday Card….
Usually pretty large fields🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

The very small fields especially apply in stakes races. Often the same horses are running against one another time after time. The maiden, claiming and ubiquitous optional claimers tend to draw reasonably sized fields.

Ahhhh, my internet connection went out for a few hours after I'd analyzed and typed this, would have hit my first superfecta ever, as well as exacta and trifecta in R1! I took advice from Ruffian and picked horses based mostly on names (odds, connections and pps dictated rest) and they finished in exactly the first 4 order I wanted most, though obviously I wasn't able to bet. I guess I can blame it all on "Kleen Karma's" "no response"" lol.
