Congrats on your points win Roamin. What a very astute choice of venue - Churchill's one day summer race meeting so that they can keep alive the Arlington Million and Beverly D. names even though the Arlington Park race track which they purchased is soon to be sold to the Chicago Bears.
It looks as if Churchill is being very cautious with its turf course, running the Beverly D. on the outer part and the Million on the inner part, with all of the other races on the card being run on the dirt. Concerns over the turf course might also explain the lack of any significant international participation, which used to be a hallmark of the Arlington turf festival. Should still be a good day of racing - a number of the Saratoga based jockeys have made the trip for various rides on the card.
