I have to agree with Cal on this one. Even though I will be handicapping the Saratoga card, watching it on Fox Sports' Today at the Races, and probably wagering on it as well, the very small fields in the major stakes races is distressing (only 4 entrants in the Flower Bowl and 5 in the Prioress). Kind of a shame for closing weekend, but it has been a highest of the highs combined with lowest of the lows type of meeting.
The Pacific Classic card at Del Mar just lends itself better to our contest, and I say that reluctantly since as you probably know I much prefer the Spa. p.s. - Congrats on your points win, RQ. Very well done.
