The Derby Trial Winner

Baffert likes to be in the winner's circle at Chirchill Downs on the first Saturday in May but this year he was there on the last Saturday in April with a horse named Record, any news on this horse, as I haven't heard any?

He's run several times since the Derby Trial. He ran 5th(in a 5 horse race) in a stakes race at Hollywod in June. Point Determined won that race. Then he ran 3rd in an allowance race at Del Mar in July. Then he won an allowance race at Del Mar in August. His most recent race was at Santa Anita last month. He ran 5th in an allowance race. Arson Squad won that race.

I think he just needs a little more time between races. Then maybe Baffert can sneak in 7 or 8 more bullets a month with him.

actually, it was Sunday not Saturday in April...I was there at the CD, and thought he had more potential than G3's and allw races, but...maybe not
so thanks for the update, as I haven't been able to keep up with the west coast racing as much this year since I moved to a new time zone
